Enter a new user name, Email address, Surveyor/LMS Number, and password in the spaces provided.
User name: Enter the user name you wish to use on this site in the field provided. Your user name can be anything of your choice with the following restrictions: it must be letters and numbers only with no spaces and it can be no more than 50 characters long. Your user name is case-sensitive (i.e., "Elvis" and "elvis" are two different user names).
Email Address: Enter a valid email address in the field provided. Password requests, registration confirmation, and important messages will be sent to this email address so be sure to enter it correctly. Email addresses are unique, meaning you cannot enter an email address already used by an existing user. A message will appear if you try to do so.
Federal Surveyor / LMS Number: Enter your Federal Surveyor or LMS Number in the field provided. You must enter this number accurately to ensure that your course completion information is transferred to the CMS Learning Management System (LMS) correctly. You must also have an existing LMS account in order for course completion information to be transferred. Id numbers are unique, meaning you cannot enter an Id number already used by an existing user. If you are told that you have entered a non-unique Id number and you are sure you have used your correct number, please contact the CMS Training Support Help Desk by submitting a trouble ticket so that the issue can be investigated.
Password and Verify Password: Enter the password you wish to use on this site in the fields provided. The password must be entered exactly the same in both fields. Your password is case-sensitive (i.e., "Password" and "password" are two different passwords - note that your password cannot contain the word "password" in it). You must change your password every six months. You will be notified by the system when it is time to change your password.
